Welcome to SalesWorx! I am so pumped up to be a part of this new online community and to have the opportunity to be a founding contributor. My little space here covers all aspects of selling.

Don't be shy, take it all in. In order to fully absorb all you are about to receive, you must have an open mind, open heart and an internal drive that doesn't quit. It's ok to be afraid, it's ok to have anxiety, it's even ok to doubt yourself every once in a while (once a day for 5 seconds) but never ever let these mental obstacles paralyze your efforts. Got it? Good.

No matter what you are selling. No matter where you are selling it, No matter the format in which you are selling it, the physical act to procure comes from a living breathing person. Unless of course your target customer is Peruvian Barking Spiders, a living human being is the one doing the buying.

Living human beings are an enormous ball of sweaty, scary, outrageous, unpredictable and sometimes even smelly balls of emotion. Got it! It all starts with people not product!
I know, big deal you already know that. Then answer this question, why is it that within the first 15 to 30 minutes of your first call you are already knee deep in the product or service you are selling? Think about it, I'm willing to bet if you if you do an honest critique after you leave your first call you transitioned to product either by your potential customer or out of your own conditioned habit or training........Stop! Here is the first step on how you can learn to start to change that behavior.

Step one, admit you have a problem. Step two, stop blaming your Mother. Step three you are not a victim. Step four, Smile, this stuff can get stressful

Solution:  Make every person within your sphere of influence feel important and included in the process, from a simple smile and good morning from getting the door, to acknowledging them in the parking lot. Bring the two E's everywhere you enter, ENERGY and EMOTION.  Be sincere, be creative and for goodness sake be INTERESTING!!!!!!  Remember you haven't even entered the building. This process starts with the security guard. I am not kidding it’s all about people and the manner in which you engage them. The last tip to step one, people can smell a fake like popcorn in a movie theatre. Be genuine or be gone. It takes work to do this correctly. It's time to get working.

Thanks for your time.

Get up early, give time to God, and make a contribution
