The point is if the sales closes itself, what have I really done to sell this product or service? Yes we all love the email or call in lead. Who doesn't? If the the inquiry is needs driven completely, the only thing you need to do is thank God for the amazing Blessing you have received. Yes that is like winning the lottery sometimes, but you can't build a client base on luck and hope, unless those are the names of the clients that called in the RFP, or service call.
And so I began to close the sale with saying things like, I need to get your ok right here, or here is what will be coming in and I'll make sure and set up a training session for your staff. The more confident you are, the more success you will have in capturing the business. Give the customer a compelling reason to make the decision now. If you have done your job up to that point you have a great chance for success. If you find this process too difficult to do without some help, may I suggest wearing DEPENDS the first couple of times you try this until you become more comfortable with the process?
I am not saying to jam the order down the customers throat. Be mindful of your audience and act accordingly.
Try this process out and let me know how it goes.
Get up early, give time to God and make a contribution.
